🦕 An island where a sea path opens where dinosaurs once walked: Sado Island, Yeosu

🌊 Sado is a small island that looks as though it were built up from sand in the middle of the sea.
True to a name given for its beautiful sand, fine white beaches stretch along the shore, and Cretaceous strata lie exposed just as they are, so you encounter traces of deep time with every step.

🦖 What makes this island special are the dinosaur footprints.
More than 3,500 dinosaur footprint fossils have been identified across Sado and the surrounding islands, and they are designated and protected as a Natural Monument.
You can see the prints left on the wide black rocks right before your eyes, making it one of Korea's noted natural learning sites.

🌅 A few times a year, the sea parts.
When the tidal range reaches its greatest, Sado and the surrounding islands connect into one and a sea path emerges.
Along that path you can walk from island to island, a sight you'll find only at Sado.

🏖️ Walking the island is a pleasure in itself.
On the beach with sea on both sides, you can take a photo with the water in frame no matter which way you face, and from the turtle-shaped rock to the coastal walking path and the park with dinosaur sculptures, you can circle the island in about two hours.

⛵ Since you arrive by boat, the journey itself becomes part of the trip.
Come meet an ancient sea within the slow-flowing time of the island!
