ZXMoto founder Zhang Xue made headlines at the 2026 MXGP Shanghai round, attending the high-octane event at Fengxian’s Shanghai International Off-Road Circuit to support his 14-year-old son, Zhang Qingtian. Competing in the 85cc youth category on a technical 1.65-kilometer track featuring 15 complex turns and steep jump sections, Qingtian tackled a formidable international field. The young rider emphasized that adapting to the physical demands of world-class competition requires intensified training and a competitive mindset, crediting his racing genetics for his passion on the dirt.

Looking beyond the youth division, Zhang Xue announced ambitious expansion plans for ZXMoto as the brand prepares to debut a full factory team in the premier MXGP class next season. While the initial focus will center on optimizing bike stability and analyzing performance telemetry against global competitors, the long-term vision focuses on youth development. By expanding sponsorship for young Chinese riders to train and race internationally in Europe, ZXMoto aims to bridge the talent gap and cultivate China’s first native MXGP world champion within the next decade.
