The King of Joy Garden

I have a piece of land.

It isn’t large or magnificent.
It may even seem plain to others.

But it is mine.

A small and humble place,
my own little world.

I named it Joy Garden.

It is still young,
still growing,
but I am raising it with love.

Here, I am the king.

Not a king who rules with power,
but a king who cares,
who tends,
who protects.

Every little stone,
every blade of grass,
passes through my hands.

My sweat,
my time,
and my love
are woven into every corner of this garden.

I love this land.

As long as I live,
I will care for Joy Garden.

And when my time on earth is over,
I hope someone will continue to love it.

Forever.
