This wasn’t actually RDJ 😳

Robert Downey Jr. didn’t actually film this final scene in Iron Man 3. During production, a body double was used for the shot, and VFX artists later digitally added Downey’s face onto the double. The effect was blended so seamlessly that most viewers would never notice anything unusual while watching the movie. It’s one of those small behind-the-scenes details that shows just how much invisible visual effects work can go into a scene that looks completely normal on screen.
