This mechanism is based of the paint ball mechanism called a dye rotor, which uses this spiral spinner to direct balls into the centre of the hopper. With a counter rotating paddle wheel, this dispenser can dispenser over 500 balls per minute, which is almost 5 times faster than my previous design.
