Wolves Face A New Threat

Wolves in America were nearly wiped out, but scientists say they’re essential to healthy ecosystems. The Trump administration signed an order directing the Interior and Agriculture Departments to let ranchers kill wolves to protect their herds. The order also tells the Interior Department to consider stripping gray wolves and Mexican wolves of their endangered species protections altogether.
