A burst of flames shooting out of a power supply the moment it’s plugged into a wall was caught on video - and it makes me nervous to ever leave anything plugged in ever again
It comes from a reddit account going by Front_Cookie_1198 - and while they don’t seem to be the person in the footage, they DO seem to have a decent amount of context
According to them, this was a VSP Megamax power supply that was an RMA from a customer
The brand uses OEM Jiumeng parts, too - which is a company typically associated with low cost power supplies - and while the thing IS cybernetics silver certified - that actually doesn’t mean anything about the quality - just the power efficiency
