1934 में हिटलर ने लेनी रीफेनश्टाल को न्यूरमेबर्ग में नाजी पार्टी की कांग्रेस पर एक फिल्म बनाने का काम सौंपा. 'ट्रायम्फ ऑफ द विल' नाम की इस फिल्म में उसने हिटलर को लोगों के सामने एक हीरो की तरह पेश किया. नाजी कांग्रेस में शामिल होने आए आम लोगों को लेनी ने ऐसे शूट किया जैसे वे हिटलर से मंत्रमुग्ध हो.
The propaganda film "Triumph of the Will" focused on Hitler and the 1934 Nazi Party Rally in Nuremberg. Artfully directed, it is one of Leni Riefenstahl's best-known works. The premiere took place on March 28, 1935 in the Ufa-Palast am Zoo in Berlin. It was the second part of Riefenstahl's party rally trilogy, after "The Victory of Faith" and before "Day of Freedom! Our Armed Forces." An award-winning work, "Triumph of the Will" quickly became one of the most prominent Nazi propaganda films. Its aesthetics would continue to influence filmmakers and advertisers long after World War II. But the film raised issues about the relationship between art, politics and morality.
