RFK Jr. Caught LYING to Senate?!?!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian cover new documents obtained by the Associated Press and The Guardian that appear to contradict Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s sworn 2025 Senate confirmation testimony that his 2019 trip to Samoa had "nothing to do with vaccines." Brian walks through Kennedy's own January 2019 letter to Samoa's prime minister, written on Children's Health Defense letterhead, proposing his team "conduct detailed health informatics assessment in Samoa of what happened with your MMR vaccines," using the words vaccine or vaccination eight times, directly contradicting what he told Senators Ron Wyden and Ed Markey under oath. Shant explains the underlying tragedy Kennedy's letter was chasing: two infant deaths in Samoa were later traced to a nurse mixing the MMR vaccine with an expired muscle relaxant rather than sterile water, not a defect in the vaccine itself, yet vaccination rates collapsed afterward, contributing to a measles outbreak that infected over 5,700 people and killed 83, disproportionately infants, in a country of 200,000. Brian notes HHS's response, that Kennedy "wasn't technically under oath," misses the point since lying to Congress is a federal crime regardless. Shant's bottom line: nothing will likely happen to Kennedy given the current Senate's makeup, but the documents undercut the credibility of the health secretary now overseeing national vaccine policy.
