Trump RUNS SCARED as He STRIKES OUT 3 TIMES!!!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian cover the Trump administration's third emergency appeal to the Supreme Court in months, this time asking the justices to lift U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani's September 4 preliminary injunction blocking a new USPS rule that would require states to submit voter lists and unique barcodes before mail ballots can be delivered. Brian explains the mechanics: the rule would let the federal government cross-reference state voter rolls against its own citizenship data and instruct the Postal Service to withhold ballots from anyone not on its approved list, all without congressional authorization for the president to control the time, place, and manner of elections, a power the Constitution gives to the states. Shant highlights the contradiction at the center of Solicitor General John Sauer's latest filing, which calls the rule a "modest envelope design requirement" in one breath and claims blocking it "nullifies" efforts to stop voter fraud in the next, despite no evidence of mail voter fraud existing in the record. Brian and Shant note the timing: Alabama and North Carolina ballots were already set to go out September 4th and 9th, meaning any last-minute rule change creates a logistical nightmare state election officials can't realistically absorb. Shant's bottom line: losing the same argument three times isn't persistence, it's a deliberate strategy to disenfranchise voters by running out the clock before November.
