Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has slammed Labor’s ‘trifecta of failure’ in the housing market as home values plummet.
“What we’ve seen under Labor is a trifecta of failure when it comes to the housing market: higher rents, a collapse in building, less construction and a collapse in confidence,” Mr Taylor told News24 host Sharri Markson.
“Labor say they’re doing this because they want to get first home buyers into the market, but we're also seeing a reduction in loan applications for first home buyers.
“This is not working for anyone.”
