The answer is yes... and no. Here's why.
There are two main techniques used during XERF treatment:
✨ Stamping technique – This can feel a little more intense, especially in certain areas of the face, but it's an important first step to help raise the skin to the optimal treatment temperature.
✨ Gliding technique – Once the skin has reached the ideal temperature, we switch to a smoother gliding motion, which is generally more comfortable.
If the treatment starts to feel too warm, we can also activate ICD (Integrated Cryogen Delivery), which delivers additional cooling during the procedure to help keep you comfortable.
