Every September 7, the world comes together to observe the “International Day of Clean Air for blue skies”—a meaningful day first proposed by the Korean government and adopted by the UN.
This day is celebrated globally to raise awareness of the urgent challenge of air pollution and to call for pragmatic action.
To lead this movement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment have been hosting annual commemorative events since 2020.
Protecting our blue skies begins with individual action. Let’s take this step together.
