Apple unveils new £1,999 foldable iPhone | BBC News

It’s almost 20 years since the first iPhone was released and since then more than three billion have sold worldwide, and Apple has now unveiled its first ever foldable iPhone.

With a book-style format, the new iPhone, dubbed the Duo, is the largest ever size of the product. And with a US starting price of $1,999 (£1,475) going up to $3,200, it is also the most expensive. UK prices start at £1,999.

Apple's new chief executive John Ternus said the Duo was "inspired by the iPad" but called the folding features "fluid and completely intuitive."
