안녕하세요 실버스노우입니다.
오늘은 잔잔하고 다정한 자수를 소개하려고 해요.
바로 아르누보 스타일의 대가이죠, 윌리엄 모리스(William Morris)의 '데이지 자수(Daisy Embroidery)' 패턴입니다.
저는 이 패턴을 다시 손자수에 맞게 디자인하고, 중요 포인트 질감을 더해서 자수로 재해석했어요.
이번 꽃자수 패턴은 중앙에 수놓아진 노란 데이지 꽃을 중심으로 반복되는 들꽃들이에요.
총 4가지 종류의 꽃을 반복하며 수놓았어요.
반복되는 면 채우기 자수 같은 다소 지루함 보다는, 하나씩 짧은 호흡으로 완성되는 꽃을 수놓으니 성취감도 있고 무엇보다 수놓는 시간도 더욱 정성들이게 되더라고요.
보는 즐거움도 크지만 만드는 즐거움도 아주 큰 작품이랍니다.

Hello, this is Silver Snow.

Today, I’m back with a masterpiece embroidery series after a long time :) It is William Morris’s “Flower Pattern” embroidery.
Following the William Morris “Garden Pattern” embroidery I introduced previously, I would like to introduce William Morris’s second work.
This “Flower Pattern” embroidery features a collection of various flowers gathered in one place :)
For this piece, I completed it by embroidering a total of four types of flowers: a yellow daisy in the center, orange flowers, blue flowers, and red flowers.
I also had a really enjoyable time embroidering the various flowers for this piece :)
