That tiny scene in Epic is way funnier than it has any right to be. The fruit fly basically lives his entire life in a few seconds, going from young to old while casually talking to Mub and Grub before dying mid-conversation. It’s such a ridiculous visual gag, but it also somehow makes adulthood feel painfully accurate one second you’re young, the next you’re wondering where the time went.
