Kushner THREATENS LEGAL ACTION as BOMBSHELL Allegations Surface…

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian separate two stories about Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law: one documented, one only alleged. First, Kushner’s firm Affinity Partners is the largest shareholder in Israeli insurer Phoenix Financial, a 7.4% stake worth more than $1 billion, and in July sold a quarter of it for about $343 million, roughly five times its investment, according to a CNN investigation and JNS. Phoenix holds stakes in at least nine Israeli defense companies, including Elbit Systems, while Kushner, named special envoy for peace in February, helped broker the Gaza ceasefire. CNN found no sign that his diplomacy influenced the investments, his attorney says he never directed Phoenix’s decisions, and the White House calls the criticism a longstanding political attack. The hosts add the Senate Finance Committee’s 2024 findings under Sen. Ron Wyden that Affinity collected as much as $157 million in fees from foreign clients, $87 million of it from Saudi Arabia, with no investor returns, and earlier reporting that a Saudi Public Investment Fund panel questioned its $2 billion commitment in 2021 before the crown prince’s team overruled it. Second, they discuss an excerpt in Vanity Fair from Matthew Cole’s book Princes and Thieves, released October 27, alleging, based on Dutch intelligence and a compromised phone, that Saudi and Emirati sources put money into accounts Kushner could access during Trump’s first term, including a roughly $750 million Dubai account and about $1 billion routed through Azerbaijan. Kushner calls the claims “completely insane” and “categorically false,” and Trump has called the story false. Kushner’s lawyer demanded Vanity Fair take the excerpt down and threatened legal action, but no lawsuit had been reported filed as of late October, and the allegations are unverified. The hosts remind viewers that public figures must prove actual malice. Brian’s bottom line: a documented conflict of interest and an unproven allegation are different things, and the public deserves a full investigation of both.
