Is it possible to get paid to travel Japan?

Roseman and I love our holidays but we kept catching ourselves scrolling through recommended restaurants instead of actually sitting in them, checking our phones at dinner, and losing hours at night to nothing in particular. So we made a rule: no social media, and whoever stays offline gets paid by the other person. 20,000 won ($20 aud) a day, doubling every consecutive day we both make it.
