How to maximize glitter polish payoff

Have a glittery polish that's super stunning but won't get opaque no matter how many coats you put on without getting lumpy? Use a make-up sponge!

1) Apply complimentary base colour coat that is similar to the glitters - this will fill in any gaps and reflect the glitters if using a metallic/chrome polish like I have here (this is OPI's 'Push and shove' silver chrome).
2) Brush on glitter polish to corner or small edge of make-up sponge and let jelly polish absorb a bit (this is fun to watch!)
3) Dab on glitters using sponge. The sponge absorbs excess jelly leaving more glitters behind to stick to the nail.
4) Repeat steps 2-3 a couple times.
5) When you're almost there, take the polish brush and scrape off excess jelly. Apply to nail and fill in any blanks (might be around the sides of the nail).
6) Clean up, topcoat if desired, and go blind some people!
