US President Donald Trump has claimed the war in Iran won’t be over until after the midterms.
“This war will end immediately after our election,” President Trump told reporters on Wednesday, local time.
He’s on his way to Dallas, Texas, for an historic first for Republicans; a midterm convention where he’ll be the headline speaker.
President Trump’s departure for the convention was delayed over an issue with the emergency slide of his Qatari-gifted jet.
