St. Bernard completely short-circuits over a guinea pig 😳

It is a common assumption that a giant breed dog would immediately view a small rodent as prey. This footage complicates that expectation by showcasing a response built entirely on caution. The handler places the guinea pig directly on the dog's paws, a proximity that would normally trigger a prey drive if one were present. Instead, the dog treats the smaller animal as a confusing object. The wide-eyed flinch and immediate backward retreat show the dog attempting to reassess the situation rather than preparing to make a strike.
