It’s about time they actually did something to IMPROVE this game
Counter Strike just shadow dropped pet chickens that players raise from eggs and there’s more skins to collect than anime ladies in this freaky character pod
Seriously - there’s no reasoning given for the update on top of no mention of it in the game’s patch notes - but after a week-long incubation period, your next weekly drop pull hatches into a baby bird that you can inspect like an in-game weapon and pose for photos with at your loadout screen
Allegedly you’ll be able to take your chicken into game lobbies after it grows up a little, teach it tricks, and then it eventually disappears after it’s a full adult
There’s currently 35 different skins for the little ladies, but absolutely no word on whether this’ll be a new pet system that eventually gets fleshed out with more animals in the future
