What's Your 64? University of Michigan and Michigan State University join together to champion cause

On Friday, Nov. 6, the afternoon before the University of Michigan vs. Michigan State University football game, Wolverines and Spartans came together at the Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center for a joint-competition in wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball to celebrate the culmination of this year’s What’s Your 64 initiative. The effort, a transformation of Alex’s Great State Race in honor of Alex Powell, championed a common cause to raise awareness and vital funds to support students with disabilities at both U-M and MSU. Following the competitions, representatives from both institutions and partner organizations, as well as family members of Alex Powell, shared remarks.
