Kash Patel HUMILIATED Himself in the WORST WAY Possible...

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian break down FBI Director Kash Patel's bizarre Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, where Senator John Kennedy grilled him for nearly five hours about a new FBI hiring policy that no longer automatically disqualifies job applicants over past acts of prostitution or bestiality. Brian and Shant walk through the FBI's revised standards: soliciting prostitution is no longer disqualifying if it happened fewer than three times more than a decade ago, theft from an employer is forgiven after several years, and bestiality is no longer an automatic bar — particularly if it happened before age 18. Patel told Kennedy the changes exist to avoid automatically disqualifying trafficking victims who were forced into such acts, but when Kennedy pressed him on whether someone who "voluntarily" engaged in bestiality should still be hired, Patel initially answered, "If he voluntarily did it, sure" — before reversing and saying such a person "ought to be in jail." Brian and Shant note this comes as the FBI struggles to recruit and retain staff amid mass firings and resignations since Trump's second term began, forcing the bureau to loosen hiring standards to fill vacancies. They also point to Patel's mounting personal controversies — reports of absenteeism, late-night partying, and his membership at a Las Vegas lounge called The Poodle Room — as further evidence of an agency in disarray under his leadership. Brian's bottom line: an administration that gutted the FBI's workforce is now defending hiring rules so poorly written that a serious Senate hearing turned into a national punchline, and Kash Patel is the one who has to answer for it.
