A new biotechnology research center has opened on the TUM campus in Garching: the Center for Organoid Systems (COS). COS adds a new focus on organoid research to the Munich Institute for Biomedical Engineering (MIBE). Here, researchers develop and study organoids, often called "mini-organs", that closely replicate key functions of the human body.
