VHS-2 Helion

VHS-2는 크로아티아의 HS Produkt에서 개발한 5.56×45mm NATO 탄약 사용 불펍 방식 돌격소총입니다.

기존 VHS 소총의 단점을 개선하여 2013년에 출시된 차세대 불펍(Bullpup) 소총입니다.

주요 특징:
* 탄피 배출 방향을 조정할 수 있어 오른손잡이와 왼손잡이 모두 쉽게 사용 가능합니다.
* 총열 길이를 유지하면서도 전체 길이를 줄여 시가지 전투와 차량 탑승 전투에 유리합니다.
* 조정간, 노리쇠 후퇴 고정 장치 등 주요 조작 부위가 완전한 양손잡이용(Ambidextrous)으로 설계되었습니다.
* 길이 조절이 가능한 신축식 노리쇠 받침대(스톡)를 탑재했습니다.
* 채용 현황: 크로아티아 군경의 제식 소총이며, 프랑스 군의 차기 소총 사업(AIF) 최종 후보에 오르는 등 해외에서도 뛰어난 성능을 인정받았습니다.

The VHS-2 is a 5.56×45mm NATO bullpup assault rifle developed by the Croatian company HS Produkt and introduced in 2013.

* Features a fully ambidextrous design with customizable spent casing ejection to accommodate both left- and right-handed shooters.
* Retains a full barrel length within a compact overall footprint, making it highly effective for close-quarters battle (CQB) and mechanized infantry operations.
* Equipped with an adjustable telescopic buttstock, a rare feature among traditional bullpup rifles.
* Includes integrated Picatinny rails and fully ambidextrous controls (safety, magazine release, and bolt catch).
* Adoption: It serves as the standard service rifle for the Croatian Armed Forces and earned high recognition internationally, notably as a finalist in the French Military's AIF rifle replacement program.
