Another nail in the “you’ll own nothing and be happy” coffin just dropped in the form of an irritating email from Playstation that they’ve been sending out to their userbase
Seemingly in an effort to cover all their bases, people with PSN accounts are getting this message breaking down, in detail, the new changes they’ve made to their terms of service, code of conduct, end user agreement, and privacy policy - and they made SURE to open with the fact that YOU already agreed to all this
Among the bullet points, they detail that the software you “purchase” isn’t being sold - it’s just licensed
You have a very finite amount of things that you’re legally allowed to DO with that license, and anything that isn’t explicitly explained at the time of the transaction is effectively up to Sony’s discretion in the future
