Deputy national police commissioner, Lieutenant General Tebello Mosikili delivers a news conference about the series of killings in Ekurhuleni.
Nine women bodies were found in the Ekurhuleni municipality, raising concerns that the killings were carried out by the same person or people.
The discoveries, all in an area north of Johannesburg, have sent shock waves through the country, and highlighted the high rate of femicide in South Africa.
