Episode 01：ITEM
Episode Summary：
ITEM, an elite force of four girls: Shizuri Mugino, Rikou Takitsubo, Frenda Seivelun, and Saiai Kinuhata, is one of Academy City's underworld groups, dwelling in the "dark side". The four thought they'd wrapped up a job from the "voice on the phone" as usual, but they end up being saddled with a new “lucrative gig". Their target is an NPO that uses the treatment of incurable diseases as a cover for inhumane ability development. To eliminate this organization, which is protected by an esper wielding the Invincible Shield, the four launch an assault on their headquarters.

📖 Synopsis：
The stage is set in a massive city in the western part of Tokyo, Academy City.

With a total population of 2.3 million, about 80 percent of whom are students, this city implements a specialized curriculum for developing esper abilities, and students' abilities are rated on a six-tier scale ranging from Level 0 to Level 5.

Boasting scientific and technological advancements far surpassing common knowledge, it is a dream-like educational institution where everyone is granted scientific abilities and can live safely, yet behind this façade of peace lie organizations operating in the "dark side" that take on the dirty work that must never see the light of day.

One such group is "ITEM", an elite unit composed of four girls.

Saiai Kinuhata, who manipulates nitrogen at will and provides impenetrable defense.
Frenda Seive;un, who masterfully employs explosives and traps to throw the battlefield into chaos.
Rikou Takitsubo, who reads and tracks the faint energy emitted by espers.
And Shizuri Mugino, one of only seven Level 5s in Academy City.

Then, a fifth member appears before them.
Their encounter with her will lead ITEM into a new darkness...

This is a story depicting the daily lives and bonds of a group of rather unusual girls with special abilities, laced with violence, cruelty, and depravity, as well as a deep, deep darkness.
