Hernc’s work begins with the intense Mediterranean sunlight and everyday moments of local life, transforming the sensations experienced through travel into powerful colors and dynamic forms.

The exhibition 〈Prego, Prego〉 originates from the moments of “hospitality” encountered in a foreign land. The relaxed conversations and toasts shared around outdoor tables, along with vivid interactions with people met at local restaurants, are reimagined as lively banquet scenes within the artworks.

Like a table that connects people, Hernc captures moments of connection with unfamiliar people through vibrant colors and rich imagery. The everyday romance and warm hospitality discovered in Italy are reborn through Hernc’s unique artistic language.
