US officials privately brace for prolonged Iran conflict beyond midterms, analyst warns

News24 US Analyst Michael Ware has provided new insights into the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States, highlighting the uncertain timeline and political ramifications.

“There's a report in the Wall Street Journal last week that said Vice President J .D. Vance and others have been discussing with President Trump … that the war will not be over by the midterms,” Mr Ware told News24.

“It could go on until next year or even to the end of the president's current term.”
