Hal Jordan Reluctantly Trains His Replacement | Lanterns

Late at night outside a motel, veteran Green Lantern Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) has an unguarded conversation with John Stewart (Aaron Pierre), the young recruit he never wanted to mentor. Face to face under flickering motel lights, the two trade doubts, pushback, and grudging respect in one of the most character-driven scenes from HBO's Lanterns. A rare quiet moment before the story's bigger mystery pulls them back in -- straight from creators Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King.
