The Golden Globes REALLY Need a Horror Category at This Point 😭

“Obsession” has reportedly been submitted for consideration in the Musical or Comedy categories at the Golden Globes, and once again it brings up the same question: why is there still no dedicated category for horror?

Horror and thriller movies constantly end up competing in categories that don’t always feel like the right fit. Whether a movie is labeled comedy, musical, drama, or something else, genre films deserve a space where they can actually be recognized for what they are.

At this point, the Golden Globes adding a horror/thriller category would make so much sense. Do you think horror deserves its own major awards category?
