The Monster Crushed By The Truck | Hope (2026)

Bum-seok and Sung-ae aren’t running anymore. With the creature charging straight at their patrol car down Hope Harbor’s main street, the police chief leans out of the window and opens fire. They run right over it, but the thing gets back up and takes off. “It’s getting away.” “No, it’s not.” The chase spills out of town and onto the open road, the chief firing round after round from the speeding car while the monster gallops after them on all fours. Then it steps onto the highway right in front of a speeding tanker truck.

Starring Hwang Jung-min as Police Chief Bum-seok and HoYeon as Officer Im Sung-ae in Hope, Na Hong-jin’s new Korean sci-fi monster epic with Zo In-sung, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander.

Did you see that ending coming?
