Cities in crisis

A city is more than buildings and streets. It is about the people who call it home. What happens when war changes the face of a city?
For Om Khalil Bakry in #Gaza, war meant turning her unused refrigerator -- bought just a month before the conflict -- into a makeshift wardrobe in a ruined home.
"I couldn't bear to throw it away," she said.
Across the #MiddleEast, war is rewriting the lives of millions, and people struggle to hold life together amid the rubble of what was once home.
