College student climbs down bare-handed to save man stuck on 30-meter cliff

When a man became stranded on a nearly 30-meter-high cliff in Dalian, China's Liaoning, college student Shen Daoren climbed down bare-handed and reached the exhausted man, who was unable to hold onto a rescue rope. Shen tied the rope securely around him and supported him until visitors above pulled him to safety. Shen then made his own way back up with their help. The rescued man later thanked him in person, and Shen's college honored his courageous act with a 5,000-yuan award.
