The ULTIMATE Welcome To The NBA Moment 😭🏀

Luka Dončić just gave Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg a WILD welcome to the NBA on opening night of the 2026-27 NBA season! During the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors showdown, Luka Dončić and Yaxel Lendeborg got into a heated trash-talking battle that quickly became one of the most viral moments of NBA Opening Night. After getting frustrated with Luka's foul calls and constant talking, the former Michigan Wolverines national champion refused to back down, telling the six-time NBA All-Star that he couldn't score on him and even receiving a technical foul during their intense back-and-forth. Following the game, Lendeborg revealed that he had lost all respect for Luka, criticizing his complaining to referees and claiming that Dončić's only basket against him was a lucky half-court bank shot. But Luka had a completely different perspective, telling reporters that when somebody starts talking trash, they unlock a different version of him. And that's exactly what happened. With tensions boiling over in the second quarter, Dončić pulled up from HALF COURT and banked in an unbelievable buzzer-beater right before halftime, immediately turning toward the rookie, pointing at him, and continuing to talk trash! Luka finished with 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists as the Lakers dominated the Warriors 127-105, while Lendeborg finished his NBA debut with 12 points. From the heated exchanges and viral postgame interviews to the disrespectful half-court buzzer-beater and Luka's legendary trash-talking moments, this was an unforgettable introduction to the NBA for Yaxel Lendeborg. Never wake up a trash-talking Luka Dončić!
