From Damascus to deep space 🚀
For Ahmad, what began as a childhood fascination eventually became a Space Science and Engineering MSc at UCL, where he explored how spacecraft can survive radiation in space, helped develop a mission concept to one of Saturn’s moons, and pitched his work to ESA representatives.
Along the way, he also found opportunities outside the classroom, interviewing people across the space sector for UCL Mathematical & Physical Sciences and finding community with UCL Emperors.
For Ahmad, studying a Master’s in London wasn’t about following one perfectly planned path. It was about turning curiosity into direction and saying yes to opportunities he hadn’t expected.
