Poor Saftey Guy

Matt Damon shared a hilarious story about a memorable dinner he had with Tom Cruise after Cruise scaled the exterior of the towering Burj Khalifa for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. Being terrified of heights himself, Matt couldn't help but ask the intense action star how he managed to execute such a heart-stopping feat. Cruise enthusiastically explained that he had been dreaming of pulling off that exact cinematic shot for fifteen years. However, when he presented his ambitious vision to the production safety coordinator, the official strictly forbade it and declared the stunt far too dangerous to attempt. Unbothered by the warning, Cruise simply replaced him with a brand-new safety guy who would agree to let him do it. Seeing Tom Cruise casually fire a safety officer just to jump off the world's tallest skyscraper is pure gold. #mattdamon #tomcruise #missionimpossible #burjkhalifa #stunts #hollywood #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories
