“The University of Hong Kong: Leading the Infinite” Episode 5: Envisioning Tomorrow

In the finale of HKU: Leading the Infinite - "Envisioning Tomorrow", HKU is expanding its campus to support talent and research. This includes next year's completion of the Grantham Hospital University Block and active participation in the Northern Metropolis University Town, leveraging Hong Kong’s common law and financial status to drive Industry-University-Research Integration.

Facing the impact brought by AI, Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKU, emphasises the University’s foresight to nurture versatile talent and facilitate interdisciplinary research. HKU firmly believes that people are the foundation for progress; only by enabling the humanities, science, and engineering to flourish together can we truly fulfill our mission of “transforming humanity’s future”.
