Trump THROWS TANTRUM and SHUTS IT ALL DOWN after MASSIVE LOSS!!!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian break down the Kennedy Center's abrupt closure, ordered by its Trump-appointed board just hours after U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled — for the third time — that Trump can't put his name on the building or its grounds. Brian and Shant explain the legal foundation Cooper keeps relying on: a 1983 statute that bars naming any part of the federally chartered Kennedy Center after any individual without Congress's approval, which Cooper says the board can't get around by inscribing a "Renovated and Restored by President Donald J. Trump" subtitle or renaming the grounds "President Donald J. Trump Plaza." Within hours of the ruling, Trump — whom the board made its own chairman — declared the $257 million renovation and reconstruction "will not take place" unless an appeals court or the Supreme Court eventually rules in his favor, effectively holding the building's repairs hostage to his naming-rights fight. Brian and Shant highlight ex officio board member Rep. Joyce Beatty's account of the board call, where Trump reportedly called her "incompetent" and threatened to hold her personally responsible if the ceiling collapsed and killed someone — to which Beatty shot back that he already has more bankruptcies than anyone in the room. Brian and Shant explain why Beatty has a strong case: unlike the White House ballroom dispute, she has clear standing as a sitting board member, and Congress passed an actual statute governing the Kennedy Center's name, something the White House itself lacks. Brian's bottom line: Trump is once again the architect of his own defeat, since publicly admitting the closure is conditioned on his name being restored hands Beatty's legal team exactly the evidence they need to prove it's retaliation, not a genuine safety closure.
