2026 Shanghai Tourism Festival is ready to showcase its parade

The 37th Shanghai Tourism Festival classic events season is in full swing, with more than 170 cultural and tourism activities planned.
The grand parade, one of the event's most anticipated attractions will take place at the Bund on September 12, showcasing 21 themed floats along with 21 domestic and international performance troupes.
The festival also expands its reach nationwide, with satellite venues in six other cities—Wuxi, Ningbo, Sanming, Huaihua, Kashgar, and Changting—spanning from the eastern coast to the far west of China. Activities feature food, markets, sports, and cultural experiences, along with discounted tickets, tourism vouchers, and travel packages.
The 2026 Shanghai Tourism Festival runs from July 8 to Oct 6 under a "one festival, two seasons" model, covering the summer season and the classic events season.
