⬆️ RB Leipzig – SV Elversberg | Bundesliga Highlights ⬆️

RB Leipzig secured an emphatic 4-0 home victory over SV Elversberg on Bundesliga matchday 7 after a goalless first half. Returning goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland kept Leipzig level before the break with a crucial long-range save.

Just after the restart, Tidiam Gomis broke the deadlock with a left-footed finish following great work from Antonio Nusa (48’). Rômulo doubled the lead in the 66th minute, slotting home through the keeper's legs after latching onto another Nusa pass. Christoph Baumgartner marked his return from a lengthy injury spell with an 84th-minute header to make it 3-0. Debutant Abdoul Kone then set up Rômulo with a brilliant back-heel just before the final whistle, allowing the striker to seal his brace and make it 4-0. The clean-sheet win extends Leipzig’s winning streak at the Red Bull Arena to ten competitive matches. 🔥
