Courage does not always arrive before action. Sometimes it develops only after we take the first uncertain step. Drawing on her experiences in television and her decision to leave professional security to build something new, Uma Oza explores how responsible risk-taking, preparation and action can transform fear into confidence and personal growth. Uma Oza is a thought leader in education and human development with over four decades of experience transforming how individuals and institutions learn, lead and evolve. Her work integrates Nonviolent Communication into leadership and learning, fostering cultures rooted in trust, empathy and conscious responsibility. She has pursued advanced studies in Teaching for Understanding and Coaching for Understanding at Harvard University and is a certified facilitator of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Theatre of the Oppressed. She also holds an international certification in Theme-Centred Interaction from the Ruth Cohn Institute, Berlin. Currently Vice President at the Competitiveness Mindset Institute, USA, Uma is also visiting faculty at IITGN-X, Institute of Design and Nirma University. Her work is anchored in nurturing conscious leaders and compassionate systems that move beyond performance to purpose and create meaningful, sustainable change.
