Post Match Media Availability | Sami Gidi | 10/28/26

Sami Gidi reflects on scoring his first goal for FC Cincinnati against Inter Miami CF, the team’s draw, and the mentality heading into the final two home matches.

Gidi discusses the disappointment of not taking all three points while still valuing the result, along with what made his first goal for the club a special moment. He also breaks down FC Cincinnati’s recent defensive improvement, emphasizing the importance of staying compact and limiting space against Miami’s attacking threats.

Looking ahead, Gidi says the group is focused on finishing strong at home and taking six points from the final two matches. Despite inconsistent results, he remains confident in the team and stresses the importance of keeping their heads up as they move forward.
