‘Complete waste’: Labor slammed over $150m climate conference as Pacific leaders snub Bowen

Shadow Science and Technology Minister Aaron Violi blasts Labor for spending $150 million of taxpayer money on a beachside climate conference as questions mount over the lack of Pacific leader attendance.

“A complete waste of time, a complete waste of money,” Mr Violi told News24 host Chris Kenny.

“The Australian people would be staggered to hear that $150 million of taxpayer money is being spent on this climate conference at a beachside resort.”
