Bringing Food Safety Standards to the World: Global HACCP 🌍

The HACCP system—a trusted standard for food safety—is stepping onto the world stage! ✈️

To meet the growing global demand for K-Food, Korea has introduced Global HACCP, an enhanced food safety management framework designed to address evolving food safety challenges, including intentional contamination and food fraud.

Building on the existing HACCP system, Global HACCP incorporates key international food safety principles, including Food Defense, Food Fraud Prevention, Food Safety Culture, and Food Safety Management Systems, along with strengthened allergen management. 🛡️

To establish a more comprehensive food safety system, the number of evaluation criteria has expanded from 80 to 152, incorporating 72 additional criteria. 📊
