📢 Challenge yourself in the National Student Statistics Application Contest now.
1. Implementing Organization
◦ Host: Statistics Korea
◦ Organizer: Statistical Training Institute
◦ Sponsor: Ministry of Education and 17 Metropolitan/Provincial Offices of Education
2. Eligibility
o Elementary Division: Students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at elementary schools nationwide and participants of the same age
o Middle School Division: Students at middle schools nationwide and participants of the same age
o High School Division: Students at high schools nationwide and participants of the same age
3. How to Participate
◦ Submit statistical posters planned, researched, and produced directly by the participants
◦ Submissions are made in teams, with one entry per team
- Teams are formed with 1 to 3 participants from the same school or region (1 person is allowed)
- Supervising teachers may supervise multiple teams, but participants must belong to only one team
4. Competition Schedule
◦ Registration: May 1, 2024 (Wed) – June 14, 2024 (Fri)
◦ Poster Submission (File): June 17, 2024 (Mon) ~ Jul. 12 (Fri)
◦ 1st Round Judging Period: Jul. 18 (Thu) ~ Jul. 19 (Fri), 2024
◦ 1st Round Results Announcement: Jul. 24 (Wed), 2024
◦ 2nd Round Judging Period: Jul. 7 (Wed) ~ Jul. 9 (Fri), 2024 / Middle School ➞ High School ➞ Elementary School
◦ Winner Announcement: Jul. 20 (Tue), 2024
* The winner announcement date is subject to change due to operational circumstances.
◦ Awards Ceremony: Held on Statistics Day (Schedule to be announced later)
