'Burnt Offering' was premiered at the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company's 'Sweden Connection' in 2019.
Based on the traditional Korean dance "Seungmu," 99 Art Company collaborated with Swedish dancers to reinterpret the meaning of human "labor" and recreate it as a contemporary story.
Choreographer, Hyerim Jang, considered human efforts, sincerity.
Also, she considered our daily life itself as a beautiful prayer,
and add the meaning of burnt offerings of it.
This piece contains the desire that our lives, which burn by labor, will never be thrown away in vain.
