Beautiful Girl Cop Saves the Chief From the Monster | Hope (2026)

The creature lunges at Police Chief Ko Bum-seok in the middle of Hope Harbor’s main street, and just when it looks like it’s over, rookie officer Im Sung-ae shows up with a grenade launcher. Round after round, she drives the monster back down the street, through the smoke and into a storefront. “You crossed the line.” The thing keeps getting back up and crawling straight toward her, but Sung-ae doesn’t back off an inch. Only when debris comes flying right at her does she finally take cover behind her patrol car. The rookie of the Hope Harbor police just became its toughest officer.

Starring HoYeon (Squid Game) as Im Sung-ae and Hwang Jung-min as Police Chief Bum-seok in Hope, Na Hong-jin’s new Korean sci-fi monster epic with Zo In-sung, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander.

Is Sung-ae the real hero of Hope?
